High Intensity Interval Cycling is a lesson focused on higher cadence performance. More precisely, it involves exercising at the limit of the exerciser’s oxygen and energy debt. The lesson consists of short sequences that can be called sprints. Depending on the terrain, the rider maintains a cadence of 75 to a maximum of 90 rpm when riding out of the saddle, or 100–130 rpm when riding in the saddle on a flat surface. It is a more advanced form of increasing the body’s performance.
